Shares of Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited are likely to remain in focus after the company announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Private Limited (DICV) to provide its Zaggle Zatix platform and Corporate Credit Card Program to DICV’s fleet partners. The partnership expands Zaggle’s footprint in fleet expense management and corporate financial automation solutions.

Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited has a total market capitalization of approximately Rs. 2747 crore. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 203.50 apiece on the stock exchange. What is the agreement?

According to the company’s exchange filing, Zaggle has entered into a three-year domestic agreement with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). Under the partnership, Zaggle will provide its Zaggle Zatix fleet management platform along with its Corporate Credit Card Program to DICV’s fleet partners.

The company stated that the commercial consideration under the agreement will depend on the number of fleet partners and drivers onboarded, as well as the spending carried out at authorized DICV touchpoints during the tenure of the agreement. Since revenues are usage-based, the company said it is not possible to ascertain the contract value at this stage. It also clarified that the agreement is with a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transactions.

The agreement allows Zaggle to enter deeper into the commercial vehicle ecosystem by offering digital expense management solutions to fleet operators. Fleet businesses incur regular expenses such as fuel purchases, maintenance, toll payments, repairs and driver-related costs. Zaggle’s platform helps companies digitally track these expenses, automate approvals, monitor spending in real time and simplify reimbursements, reducing manual paperwork while improving cost control. As more fleet operators adopt digital financial management tools, Zaggle can benefit from higher transaction volumes and increased customer engagement.

Unlike a fixed-value contract, this agreement follows a usage-based revenue model. Zaggle’s earnings will increase as more fleet partners and drivers join the platform and transact through the company’s payment solutions.

This creates the potential for recurring revenue, since fleet operators continue using the platform for day-to-day business operations rather than making a one-time purchase. Such subscription- and transaction-driven business models generally provide better revenue visibility over the long term.

The partnership demonstrates Zaggle’s ability to secure large enterprise customers and expand into new industry verticals beyond traditional corporate expense management. If onboarding of fleet operators accelerates, the company could benefit from growing transaction volumes, stronger customer retention and cross-selling opportunities for other financial technology products. Successful implementation with DICV could also help Zaggle secure similar partnerships with other commercial vehicle manufacturers and logistics companies.
