With a market capitalization of Rs. 7,050.07 crores, the share of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited has reached an intraday high of Rs. 365.90 per equity share, rising nearly around 13.51 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 322.35. Since then, the stock has retreated and is currently trading at Rs. 349 per equity share.
Q3 FY25 Result Walkthrough
Coming into the quarterly results of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 6.87 percent YOY, from Rs. 634.82 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 678.43 crore in Q3 FY25, and grew by 1.14 percent QoQ from Rs. 670.75 crore in Q2 FY25.
The company has earned revenue from MHRIL by 56.17 percent (Rs. 396.13 crore) and HCRO by 43.83 percent (Rs. 309.09 crore) in Q3 FY25.
In Q3 FY25, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited’s consolidated net profit increased by 236.37 percent YOY, reaching Rs. 35.42 crore compared to Rs. 10.53 crore during the same period last year. As compared to Q2 FY25, the net profit has increased by 208..27 percent, from Rs. 11.49 crore.
The basic earnings per share increased by 198.28 percent and stood at Rs 1.73 as against Rs 0.58 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year 2024.

Business Model
The company operates a timeshare vacation ownership model, offering 25-year memberships that allow members to stay at Club Mahindra Resorts for a week annually. With over 250,000 members as of 2024, it ranks among the largest vacation ownership companies globally and the sixth largest outside the United States.
Shareholding pattern
In December 2024, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited had a majority stake held by the promoters at 66.75 percent, foreign institutional investors at 5.37 percent, domestic institutional investors at 10.19 percent, the public at 17.49 percent, and others at 0.19 percent.
In the public holding, Ace investor Vijay Krishanlal Kedia has held a stake of 1 percent in the company, which had a holding value of Rs. 68.7 crore with ownership of 20,25,000 shares.
