The shares of a Microcap Telecommunication Equipment and Infrastructure Services provider gained nearly 10 percent in today’s trade after the company received a Letter of Intent in partnership with a Tata Group Company, Tejas Networks Ltd from the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). 

Price Action 

The shares of Valiant Communications Ltd, with a total market capitalization of Rs 321.14 Crore on Monday, reached an Intraday high at Rs 424 per share which was 9.9 percent higher than the previous closing price of Rs 385.80. The shares of Valiant Communications Ltd have generated an impressive three-year return of 540 percent and a stellar five-year return of 2,879 percent. 

What Happened

Valiant Communications Ltd through their Joint Venture with Tejas Networks Ltd, a Tata Group Company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). This project is the second one they are working on together, after an earlier project announced in January 2025.

Valiant’s role in this project is to provide and set up communication, protection, and synchronization equipment for GETCO. The total value of Valiant’s portion of the project is about Rs 39 Crores.

Mr. Inder Mohan Sood, the CEO stated that Valiant is proud to be working with Tejas Networks on these projects. He also highlighted that Valiant, as an Indian manufacturer, is a natural partner for such opportunities, which are growing in the public sector due to the Indian government’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives. 

Financials

The company reported a 32 percent YoY decline in Revenue from Operations from Rs 12.27 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs 8.36 Crore in Q3FY25. The company reported a Net loss of Rs 0.53 Crore in Q3FY25 as against a Net Profit of Rs 1.38 Crore in Q3FY24.

The company’s client base includes prestigious names such as; ABB, Siemens, Schneider-Electric, Power Grid, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Defense Communications Agency, Honeywell, United Nations,  Airport Authority of India, Tesla, Government of Canada, and more.
