The management of franchisee owners of Domino’s Pizza and Popeyes of India are focusing on rapid store expansion and technology innovation with improved operational efficiency and a Vision of expanding Dominos to 3,000 outlets and popeyes to 100 outlets.
Management Guidance
The MD & CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks stated that the government has taken significant steps to boost India’s consumption. Steps like Tax cuts in budget, interest rate cut by the RBI, and potential new pay commission.
For Domino’s, the company is expecting to expand the pizza chain to 3,000 outlets in the next three years from current outlets of 2,000, citing that demand still remains strong even after concerns of consumption slowdown. For their relatively new entrant and KFC’s competitor Popeyes, the company wants to scale it to 100 stores in the coming three years from their current 60 stores. With focus on opening stores in Metro cities.
The company has launched a new Android-based point of sale (POS) system called Elate. This technology will help the company significantly improve its operations by allowing better store management, providing real-time data, and ensuring good governance and legal compliance.
Additionally, the company’s parent, Jubilant Bhartia Group, signed an agreement to buy 40 percent of Coca-Cola India’s bottling unit Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB). HCCB operates 13 factories and serves 236 districts across 12 states in South and West India.

Financial Highlights
The company reported a 56.09 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 1,378 Crore in Q3FY24 to Rs. 2,151 Crore in Q3FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 10.02 percent in revenue from Rs. 1,955 Crore in the previous quarter.
Their Net profit saw a decrease of 34.84 percent YoY from Rs. 66 Crore to Rs. 43 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ basis, the company reported a decrease of 35.82 percent in Net profit from Rs. 67 Crore in the previous quarter.
