The shares of the prominent defence company hit 5 upper circuit after the company bagged a prestigious work order from a leading global OEM, an Israel-based defence technology company worth Rs 150.62 crore.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 2,290.10 crore, the shares of NIBE Ltd were trading at Rs 1,601.85 per share, increasing around 5 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 1,525.60 apiece.

The shares of NIBE Ltd have seen positive movement after bagging a prestigious work order from an Israel-based defence technology company, which is also a leading global OEM, for the manufacturing and supply of Universal Rocket Launcher, ranging up to 300km for a consideration of Rs 150.62 crore, and the order is to be executed on or before November 2027. 

Furthermore, the Universal Rocket Launcher is among the most advanced in its class and is designed to outperform currently available global alternatives. This order not only marks a major step forward in NIBE Limited’s international expansion but also strengthens India’s strategic position in the field of modern warfare systems.

Financial And Operational Highlights

Looking forward to the company’s financial performance, revenue jumped by 136 percent from Rs 62.69 crore in Q3FY24 to Rs 148.68 crore in Q3FY25. During the same period, net profits fell by 50 percent from Rs 4.41 crore to Rs 1.94 crore.

NIBE Group operates across defence, electric mobility, and advanced tech. It manufactures missiles and naval structures, sensors, and military software. NIBE E-Motor offers e-bicycles, e-rickshaws, batteries, and solar products. Its R&D arm develops EV solutions, hybrid PCUs, lithium batteries, supercapacitors, and rugged electronics.

Nibe Limited is engaged in providing electronic components, fabrication materials, job work relating to fabrication works and consultancy in technical projects. The Company is a service provider in the field of design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of low voltage and medium voltage lines, including substations on a turnkey basis.
