With that victory, the Catalan club became the first team in five years to score over 100 goals in a single La Liga season. Their total of 102 goals is the highest in the league since the 2016–17 campaign, underlining their dominance in Spanish football once again.

In his debut season as manager, Flick led the team to a domestic treble, capturing La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup titles.

Robert Lewandowski fired Barcelona into the lead after 14 minutes, scoring both his 100th goal for the club and Barcelona’s 100th goal in La Liga this season. Three minutes later, Lewandowski doubled Barcelona’s lead, with Raphinha’s corner diverted by an Athletic player to the back post where the Polish striker was waiting to head home.

Star Performers Lead the Way
Brazilian winger Raphinha also had a standout season. Known for his speed and creativity, Raphinha scored 35 goals and provided 26 assists in all competitions. His performances were so strong that Barcelona rewarded him with a new contract until 2028. He quickly became a key player in Flick’s system.
Seventeen-year-old winger Lamine Yamal emerged as a standout performer this season. He led La Liga with 13 assists and added 9 goals. Demonstrating remarkable skill and maturity well beyond his age.
A True Team Effort
One of the most impressive parts of this season was the way the whole team contributed. Many players scored goals for Barcelona. This balance and depth made the team difficult to defend against, as they didn’t rely on just one or two players.
