Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have reduced their exposure to Indian equities amid global economic uncertainties, rising interest rates, and geopolitical tensions. This pullback reflects a cautious stance on emerging markets, including India, despite its strong fundamentals. The decline in FII inflows has impacted market sentiment, prompting increased domestic investor participation to help stabilize equity markets.

Here are the stocks in which FII decreased its stake by up to 3.67% in the last two months;

1. Cohance Lifesciences

Cohance Lifesciences is engaged in the business of development and manufacturing of New Chemical Entity (NCE) based Intermediates, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Specialty Chemicals, and formulated drugs under contract research and manufacturing services for global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical companies. With a market capitalization of Rs 38,448.00 crore, the shares closed at Rs 1,005.00 per share, increased around 1.25 percent as compared to the previous closing.

The foreign institutional investors of the company decreased their stake by 3.67 percent, from 11.05 percent in Q4FY25 to 7.38 percent in May 2025. Additionally, 15.18 percent is owned by public investors, 11.02 percent is held by domestic institutional investors, and 66.41 percent is owned by promoters.

2. Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea Limited business services provide communication solutions to global and Indian corporations, public sector and government bodies, small and medium enterprises, and start-ups. It offers voice services, broadband services, and content and digital offerings. With a market capitalization of Rs 71,073.03 crore, the shares closed at Rs 6.56 per share, decreased around 0.76 percent as compared to the previous closing.

The foreign institutional investors of the company decreased their stake by 3.54 percent, from 10.10 percent in Q4FY25 to 6.56 percent in April 2025. Additionally, 15.44 percent is owned by public investors, 3.41 percent is held by domestic institutional investors, 49.02 percent is held by the Government, and 25.57 percent is owned by promoters.

3. Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited is a non-banking financial company (NBFC). The Company is engaged in providing asset finance through its branch network. Its segments include Financing activities and Other reconciling items. With a market capitalization of Rs 36,889.83 crore, the shares closed at Rs 265.40 per share, increasing around 1.50 percent as compared to the previous closing.

The foreign institutional investors of the company decreased their stake by 1.21 percent, from 10.68 percent in Q4FY25 to 9.47 percent in June 2025. Additionally, 6.06 percent is owned by public investors, 31.95 percent is held by domestic institutional investors, and 52.49 percent is owned by promoters.
