During Thursday’s trading session, shares of a global pioneer in high-power semiconductor solutions surged nearly 5 percent on BSE from day’s lows after the company fixed the record date for a 1:5 stock split.
The shares of RIR Power Electronics Limited hit an intraday high at Rs. 1,344.45 on BSE, up by around 1.2 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 1,329.3, with a market cap of Rs. 2,032 crores.

As per the latest regulatory filings with the stock exchanges, the Board of RIR Power Electronics Limited has fixed Friday, 25th July 2025, as the ‘Record Date’ for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the purpose of stock split in a 1:5 ratio.
This means that each fully paid-up equity share with a face value of Rs. 10 will be split into 10 fully paid-up shares with a face value of Rs. 2 each. Previously, the company had announced a bonus issue in a 1:1 ratio, which turned Ex-Bonus on July 11th, 2025, and it has already been allotted.

In Q4 FY25, RIR Power reported a significant rise in revenue from operations by around 23 percent YoY to Rs. 26.5 crores, from Rs. 21.6 crores in Q4 FY24. In contrast, the net profit decreased from Rs. 2.8 crores to Rs. 2.4 crores, representing a decline of nearly 14 percent YoY over the same period.
On 5th June, the company announced successful production expansion and shipment of manufacturing of 1200V Silicon Carbide (SiC) Diodes in collaboration with Pro Asia Semiconductor Corporation, Taiwan.
RIR Power Electronics Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices like diodes, thyristors, power modules, bridge rectifiers and high power equipment like high current rectifiers, battery chargers, rectifier panels, high power stacks and assembly.
Its products are used for industrial applications in diverse sectors such as railways, induction furnaces, electricity and power generation, engineering, water treatment, metals, defence, automobiles, oil and gas plants, welding equipment, aviation, and more.
