- The government will launch the 13th round of commercial coal mine auctions tomorrow. A total of 34 coal mines will be offered in this round.
- The Online Gaming Bill 2025 promotes e-sports and social games, bans online money games, protects youth, ensures responsible tech use, and recognizes e-sports as a sport. It empowers the Sports Ministry to set guidelines and imposes penalties of up to 2 years jail or ₹50 lakh fine for advertising money games.
- The Russian Embassy in India stated that despite political challenges, India will continue importing the same level of oil from Russia. Russia welcomes Indian goods affected by US tariffs and acknowledges India’s difficulties, pledging support to resolve them. Both countries are also holding discussions on cooperation in small modular nuclear reactors.
