With a market capitalization of Rs 1,11,239 crore, the shares of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd are currently trading at Rs 926 per share, down by 31 percent from its 52-week high of Rs 1,348 per share. During the last one year, the stock has given a negative return of 12 percent.
Financial Highlights
On Thursday, the company announced its financial results and made a couple of announcements. The company reported a revenue of Rs 23,767 crores in FY25, up by 43 percent from its FY24 revenue of Rs 16,607 crores, it increased by 35.4 percent YoY from 4,707 crores in Q4 FY24 to 6,375 crores in Q4 FY25. Additionally, on a QoQ basis, it rose by 9.3 percent from 5,830 crores in Q3 FY25 to 6,375 crores in Q4 FY25
It posted a net profit of Rs 922 crores in FY25, down by 23 percent, from its FY24 net profit of Rs 1,196 crores. It increased by 87.4 percent YoY from 381 crores in Q4 FY24 to 714 crores in Q4 FY25. However, on a QoQ basis, it rose by 14.2 percent from 625 crores in Q3 FY25 to 714 crores in Q4 FY25.
Its FY25 net profit took a hit because its subsidiary AEML has sold its Dahanu Thermal Power Plant to fulfill its ESG commitment for Rs 815 crores, with a book value was Rs 2,321.02 crores, and thereby a loss of Rs 1,506.02 crores was recorded as an exceptional item in the profit and loss statement.

It has three business segments: Transmission, Trading, and GTD (Generation, Transmission, Distribution). As of Q4 FY25, the company has a strong order book of Rs 59,936 crores.
The company constructs and operates power transmission infrastructure and also engages in bullion and agro commodity trading. It also installs optical ground wire fibers on transmission lines to provide telecom solutions to telecom operators and internet service providers.
