The shares of the prominent shock absorbers manufacturer gained up to 3.3 percent in today’s trading session despite a foreign institutional investor, Esvee Capital, offloading 3,80,000 equity shares via a bulk deal.
With a market capitalization of Rs 503.94 crore, the shares of Munjal Showa Ltd were trading at Rs 126.00 per share, increasing around 1.69 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 123.90 apiece.
Bulk Deal
The shares of Munjal Showa Ltd have seen positive movement despite a foreign institutional investor, Esvee Capital, offloaded 3,80,000 equity shares, which is equivalent to a 0.95 percent stake at an average price of Rs 122.09 per share, amounting to Rs 4.6 crore, against its 1.38% shareholding as of June this year.
The company reported a decline in Q1FY26, with revenue falling 8 percent to Rs 286.04 crore from Rs 310.75 crore in Q1FY25. Net profit dropped 30 percent to Rs 8.28 crore, reflecting weaker operational performance and increased cost pressures, indicating challenges in maintaining profitability amid slower business growth.
