During Tuesday’s trading session, the shares of a company engaged in manufacturing custom lithium-ion batteries, motors and powertrain components for EVs moved up by nearly 6.3 percent, after securing an export order worth nearly Rs. 43 crores for the supply of lithium-ion batteries.

With a market cap of Rs. 315.5 crores, at 02:00 p.m., the shares of CLN Energy Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 299 on BSE, up by nearly 4 percent, as compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 287.95.

The bidding for the CLN Energy IPO started on 23rd January 2025 and concluded on 27th January 2025. The allotment for the IPO was finalized on 28th January 2025. The shares were listed on BSE SME on 30th January 2025. The price band for the CLN Energy IPO was set at Rs. 250 per share.

According to the latest regulatory filings with the BSE, CLN Energy Limited has announced receiving an order worth nearly $5 million or Rs. 43 crores from an undisclosed Singapore-based Multinational Company.

The supply order is for the Lithium-Ion Batteries, Cabinets and other related items, and is scheduled to be completed within 90 days.

17th February: The company bagged a purchase order for the supply of Lithium Ion Batteries totalling Rs. 77 crores from an undisclosed Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in the telecom industry.

Financials

CLN Energy reported a marginal growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year rise of nearly 3 percent, from Rs. 129 crores in FY23 to Rs. 133 crores in FY24.

Similarly, its net profit increased during the same period from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 10 crore, representing an impressive rise of nearly 900 percent YoY.
