Axis Bank has introduced its new range of business credit cards, the Business Supreme Credit Cards. The bank announced this launch in June 2025, clarifying that these cards are aimed at entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals looking for a better way to manage their expenses. The Business Supreme range includes two cards — one on the Visa platform and another on Mastercard. Both have been created with the needs of businesses in mind, offering a mix of cost benefits, reward points, and special features for those who travel or spend online.

Two Cards for Two Needs

  • Business Supreme Visa — This card doesn’t charge any joining or annual fee, making it ideal for entrepreneurs or small businesses that want a no-cost option.
  • Business Supreme Mastercard — This one comes with an annual fee of Rs. 1,500 (plus GST). It has a range of benefits aimed at businesses that spend more and can make use of features like lounge access and milestone bonuses.

Rewards Tailored for Business Expenses

  • With the Visa version, you get 4 reward points for every Rs. 200 spent in categories like travel, tours, air tickets, and online advertisements (such as those on Facebook or Google). All other transactions earn 1 reward point for every Rs. 200. If you spend internationally, you get 3 reward points per Rs. 200.
  • The Mastercard version gives slightly higher returns. It offers 4 reward points for every Rs. 200 spent within India (except for fuel, EMIs, or wallets), and 8 reward points for every Rs. 200 spent internationally. To make it more attractive for higher spenders, it also gives milestone bonuses — 10,000 reward points when your annual spend crosses Rs. 5 lakhs and another 5,000 reward points when it goes beyond Rs. 8 lakhs.

Travel and Lifestyle Features

  • The Mastercard version is built for business owners who are often on the move. It gives four free lounge visits every quarter across airports in India — a valuable benefit for people who travel frequently for work.
  • Both cards also offer other useful tools. They can be used to convert payments of Rs. 2,500 and above into EMIs, making it easy to manage cash flows. They also have an automated bill payment feature, allowing businesses to set up standing instructions for utilities and recurring payments across more than 90 registered billers.

Managing Business Expenses

Both cards give access to Axis Bank’s EDGE Rewards platform, where accumulated reward points can be redeemed for vouchers, merchandise, and even travel benefits. The Visa version is tailored to help businesses make regular payments like taxes or online advertisements, making it especially useful for entrepreneurs working with a smaller budget.

Costs and Charges

  • The Visa version doesn’t have any joining or annual fee, making it a cost-free option for smaller businesses that don’t want to spend more on a credit card.
  • The Mastercard version, on the other hand, has an annual fee of Rs. 1,500 (plus GST). But for businesses making regular payments and hitting higher spend milestones, the benefits easily justify the cost.

A New Option in a Competitive Market

With the launch of these cards, Axis Bank has entered an area that’s already competitive. HDFC Bank has its BizBlack and BizPower cards, which have been popular among entrepreneurs for years. But the Business Supreme range gives Axis an edge by offering one completely free option (Visa) and one premium option (Mastercard).

Which Business Owner Will Benefit?

  • If you’re a small or growing business focusing mainly on routine payments — like online ads, office supplies, or taxes — the Visa version is a solid choice. It doesn’t cost anything to own and gives enough benefits for basic needs.
  • If your business spends more, especially internationally or for travel, the Mastercard version can be worth its annual fee. Its higher reward rate and access to lounges can justify the cost quickly.

Final Thoughts

The launch of the Business Supreme Credit Cards marks an important step for Axis Bank. By offering both a free and a premium version, the bank is trying to appeal to entrepreneurs and businesses of different sizes and spending habits. For businesses that have long been relying on generic credit cards, these new offerings can provide more tailored benefits, making everyday payments, travel, and online expenses more rewarding and manageable. With strong reward rates, valuable travel benefits, and an easy-to-use platform for payments and redemptions, the Business Supreme Credit Cards have arrived as a welcome option for entrepreneurs across the country.
