The shares of this leading FirstCry brand operator plunged approximately by 7 percent after the company declared its financials added with a raid on its store. In this article, we will look at the details about it.

With a market capitalization of Rs 18,369 crores, the shares of Brainbees Solutions Ltd are currently trading at Rs 352 per share, down by 52 percent from its 52-week high of Rs 734 per share. Over the last six months, the shares have performed poorly and delivered a negative return of 40 percent.

Brainbees Solutions reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 7,660 crores in FY25, up 18.19 percent from Rs 6,481 crores in FY24. On a year-on-year basis, revenue increased by 15.78 percent to Rs 1,930 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,667 crores in Q4 FY24. However, on a sequential basis, revenue declined by 11.14 percent from Rs 2,172 crores in Q3 FY25.

The company reported a net loss of Rs 265 crores in FY25, which narrowed from a loss of Rs 322 crores in FY24. In Q4 FY25, the net loss widened to Rs 112 crores, compared to a loss of Rs 43 crores in Q4 FY24 and Rs 15 crores in Q3 FY25.

India Multi-Channel Business revenue increased by 15 percent to Rs 5,278.5 crores in FY25. Its GMV surged by 16 percent to Rs 8,809 crores in FY25, and orders surged by 16 percent to reach 3.95 crores in FY25.

International Business revenue increased by 14 percent to Rs 858.6 crores in FY25. Its GMV surged by 15 percent to Rs 1,776.3 crores in FY25, and orders surged by 8 percent to reach 19 lakhs in FY25. In FY25, GlobalBees’ revenue rose by 30 percent to Rs 1,577.7 crore, while revenue from other segments grew by 27 percent to Rs 42.5 crore.

Additionally, the company stated that the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) carried out a search at their warehouse in Bengaluru on May 26, seizing goods valued at Rs 90 lakh. However, the company reassured that their operations are running smoothly and that they are seeking legal help. It insists that they adhere to BIS regulations and are dedicated to upholding high standards of governance and compliance.

Brainbees Solutions Limited functions as a multi-channel retail platform for mothers, babies, and kids, in India and globally. It sells many types of products, including clothes, toys, diapers, products for nursery, maternity care, books, and school supplies, as third-party and in-house brands (such as BabyHug, Babyoye, and Cutewalk) and manages pre-schools and sells through FirstCry (as well as its own stores, franchises, and general trade).
