Nifty 50 ended the session at 25,522.50, gaining 61.20 points or 0.24%. Bank Nifty rose by 307.10 points to settle at 57,256.30, up 0.54%. Sensex closed higher at 83,712.51, registering an increase of 270.01 points or 0.32%.
