Synopsis: The shares of this construction company were in focus today after it  announced the bagging of four additional orders worth Rs 710 crore and the total orders received this month crossed Rs 7,500 mark.

The shares of this company, which is one of the leading construction and infrastructure companies in India, undertaking diverse projects in sectors like buildings, transportation, water, electrical, and railways, were in focus today after its announcement of receiving additional orders worth Rs 710 crore from Central Coalfields ltd.

With the market cap of Rs 13,457 Crore, the shares of NCC ltd reached a high of Rs 217.20 compared to its previous day closing price of Rs 212.40 giving a jump of 2.25% in today’s trading session. The shares have given a return of 525% for the last 5 years.

About the order.

NCC ltd had received an order worth Rs 6828.94  crore on 25 October 2025 from Central coalfields ltd , as on 31 October 2025 four additional orders have been received by the company totaling Rs 710 crore out of which Rs 590.9 crore is pertaining to the buildings division and Rs 119.1 crore pertains to the Transportation Division of the Company. With these additional orders, NCC ltd has bagged orders worth more than Rs 7,500 crores in the month of October .

Financials and others.

The Revenue from operations is at Rs 5,179 Crore in Q1 FY26 versus Rs 5,528 crore in Q1 FY25 which is a fall of about 6.3  percent YoY sales. The fall in Net profit is around 8  percent when we compare the Q1 FY25 profit of Rs 223 crore with the Q1FY26 profit of Rs 205 crore.

The order book of the company as of Q1 FY26 stands at Rs 70,087 crore and the composition of  areas stands at Buildings 34  percent ,Transportation 26  percent ,Electrical (T&D) 22  percent, Mining 7  percent, Water & Railways 6  percent, Irrigation & Others 5  percent.

As of September 2025, NCC Limited’s shareholding pattern shows that the promoters hold about 22.11% of the company’s equity. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) account for roughly 12.87%, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) such as mutual funds and insurance companies hold around 16.65%. The remaining 48.37% of the shares are held by the public and other investors.

Spanning across the nation, their construction activities are covered under buildings, transportation, water & environment, electrical (T&D), irrigation, mining and railways sectors. In the last 4 decades, they have registered growth, both in terms of number and variety of projects.
