Synopsis:
Nibe Ltd has signed a technical collaboration agreement with Elbit Systems for the development of an artillery rocket system with a range of up to 300 kilometers.

The company, engaged in the fabrication and machining of components used in the defence sector, is in focus after signing a technical collaboration agreement with Elbit Systems Land Ltd, an Israel-based company.

With a market capitalization of Rs.2,562 Crores,shares of Nibe Limited opened at Rs.1,698.95 per equity share, from its previous day’s closing price of Rs.1,661.05, and made an intra-day high of Rs.1797.00 (8 percent).

About The Collaboration

Nibe Limited has entered into a significant agreement with Elbit Systems Land Limited, a leading defence technology company from Israel, for the transfer of technology and license to manufacture advanced defence equipment in India.

Under this agreement, Nibe Limited will receive the technology and rights to design, develop, and manufacture the Precise and Universal Launch System (PULS), an artillery rocket system. This system is capable of accurately hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers. 

This partnership will boost India’s defence capabilities through local manufacturing of high-tech military systems. Elbit Systems Land Ltd will provide the technical knowledge and support, while Nibe Ltd will take charge of production activities as per the agreement. The final financial terms of the deal will be confirmed within 45 days of signing the agreement.
