This diversified company, with its operations in sugar manufacturing, ethanol production, power transmission, water treatment, and defence engineering, is in focus after it reported its Q4FY25 results with 320.58 percent net profit growth. Further, the board also declared a 250 percent dividend, and the stock jumped by 10.41 percent

With a market capitalization of Rs. 10,111 Crore, the stock of Triveni Engineering opened at Rs. 434.50, up 2.46 percent from yesterday’s close, and after opening, it made a high of Rs. 468.20, up 10.41 percent. Additionally, the Yearly return for the stock is 35 percent, and the past 5-year return is an impressive 1,036 percent.

Financial Highlights

The company reported a 25.11 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 1,302 Crore in Q4FY24 to Rs. 1,629 Crore in Q4FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 28.47 percent in revenue from Rs. 1,268 Crore in the previous quarter.

Their Net profit saw an increase of 16.14 percent YoY from Rs. 161 Crore to Rs. 187 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 334.88 percent in Net profit from Rs. 43 Crore in the previous quarter.

The huge 334.88 percent increase in Net Profit can be attributed to the high inventory decrease in Q4FY25 compared to Q3FY24; the decrease in inventory led to a decrease in Expenses, which led to an increase in Net Profits. Other than that 28.47 percent revenue increase also contributed to the high net profit growth.

The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share or 250 percent of Rs. 1 per share face value. The record date for the dividend will be subject to approval from shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The record date for the dividend is September 1st 2025.
