The shares of the Micro-Cap company specializing in manufacturing ethanol/bio-fuel, grain-based products, and mineral-based specialty products, jumped upto 6 percent following their results with a 1,191 percent rise in Profit.

With a market capitalization of 953.33 Crores on Friday, the shares of Gulshan Polyols Ltd jumped upto 5.7 percent, reaching a high of Rs. 160.35 compared to its previous close of Rs. 151.65.

What Happened

Gulshan Polyols Ltd, engaged in manufacturing ethanol/bio-fuel, grain-based products, and mineral-based specialty products, has announced its Q2 results as follows:

Its Revenue from operations rose by 23 percent YoY from Rs. 440 Crores in Q2FY25 to Rs. 542 Crores in Q2FY26, and it declined by 8.6 percent QoQ from Rs. 593 Crores in Q1FY26 to Rs. 542 Crores in Q2FY26.

Its Net Profit YoY rose by 1,191 percent from Rs. 1.22 Crores in Q2FY25 to Rs. 15.75 Crores in Q2FY26, and it rose by 20 percent QoQ from Rs. 13.14 Crores in Q1FY26 to Rs. 15.75 Crores in Q2FY26. The earnings per share (EPS) for the quarterly period stood at Rs. 2.53, compared to Rs. 2.11 in the previous quarter.

Gulshan Polyols Ltd. is a multi-location, multi-product manufacturing company incorporated in 1981 that specializes in grain processing, mineral processing, and the biofuel/distillery sectors. 

The company produces a diverse portfolio of products, including starch and starch derivatives, calcium carbonate, ethanol, sorbitol, and agro-based animal feed. Gulshan Polyols Limited has a global presence, exporting products to many countries, and is considered a market leader in many of its product segments in India. 

Segment Analysis

Ethanol (Bio-Fuel)/Distillery:

For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2025, revenue stood at Rs. 386.55 crore, compared to Rs. 403.11 crore in the previous quarter (30-Jun-2025), marking a QoQ decline. However, on a YoY basis, revenue rose sharply from Rs. 224.28 crore in Sep-2024 to Rs. 386.55 crore in Sep-2025, indicating a YoY growth of approximately 72.3%, likely driven by higher production or improved pricing.

Grain Processing

The segment recorded Rs. 133.24 crore in Sep-2025 versus Rs. 167.43 crore in Jun-2025, showing a QoQ decrease. Compared to Rs. 190.26 crore in Sep-2024, it reflects a YoY decline of 30%, suggesting less demand in this segment.

Mineral Processing

Revenue for Sep-2025 stood at Rs. 21.93 crore against Rs. 22.68 crore in Jun-2025, representing a QoQ dip of 3.3%. YoY, it declined from Rs. 25.93 crore in Sep-2024, marking a fall of 15.4%, indicating continued softness in this business line.
