Since the Covid-19 pandemic, a wide range of stocks listed in India have given tremendous returns to its stakeholders paving the way for them to increase their wealth base.

Hazoor Multi Projects Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 206.17 crores, the stocks of Hazoor Multi Projects Limited closed at Rs 136 in Friday’s trading session, slipping around 0.40 percent as compared to the previous close of Rs 136.55 apiece. The company’s stock hit its 52-week high price in June 2023 at Rs 164.40. 

As per the BSE data, the company’s stock has delivered a huge return of approximately 16,000 percent within a span of just 3.5 years. The stock price shifted from Rs 0.84 in May 2020 to the current stock price level prevailing in the market. 

The same means that if someone had invested Rs 10,000 in the stock 3.5 years ago, it would have converted to Rs 16.10 lakhs. 

Digging into the financials of the company, the prime business indicators such as operating revenues and after-tax profits with the former recently moving from Rs 112.54 crores during FY21-22 to Rs 775.81 crores during FY22-23, and, the latter, keeping the timeframe the same, moved up drastically from Rs 2.48 crores to Rs 45.58 crores. 

As a result of the same, the basic profitability metrics saw a jump in numbers with the return on equity (RoE) increasing from 10.53 percent during FY21-22 to 85.9 during FY22-23. Moreover, the return on capital employed (RoCE) shifted from 11.81 percent to 83.75 percent during the same time horizon. 

The latest shareholding data, as per the September 2023 quarter, represents the company’s Promoters holding a 25.93 percent stake, and the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), recently buying stake, currently holds a 5.29 percent stake in the company.
