During Wednesday’s trading session, the shares of a renewable energy solution provider company surged nearly 14 percent on NSE, after the company’s Board fixed the record date for the purpose of bonus issue in a 1:1 ratio.

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 402.3 crores, the shares of Sahaj Solar Limited closed in the green at Rs. 366.25, up by around 10.6 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 331.1.

According to the latest regulatory filings with NSE, Sahaj Solar Limited has fixed the record date on Thursday, 3rd April 2025, for the purpose of bonus issue.
On 11th February 2025, the Board of Sahaj Solar approved the issuance of bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio, meaning that eligible shareholders will receive 1 new fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 10 each for every 1 existing fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 10 each held as on the record date.
Financials:
The company experienced significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year rise of 60.7 percent from Rs. 61 crores in H1 FY24 to Rs. 98 crores in H1 FY25.
Similarly, its net profit increased during the same period from Rs. 2 crores to Rs. 5 crores, indicating an impressive growth of around 150 percent YoY.
Order Book Update:
Sahaj Solar continues to maintain a robust order book, with total orders valued at Rs. 436.24 crore as of 31st December 2024, while 51.4 MW order book as of 30th September 2024.
Furthermore, the company announced securing empanelment with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSCDCL), which is expected to further enhance its business prospects in the coming quarters.
