Railtel Corporation of India Limited

Railtel Limited was incorporated in the year 2000 with the objective of creating a nationwide broadband and VPN services, telecom, and multimedia network, to modernize the train control operation and safety system of Indian Railways. 

The shares of Railtel has delivered a multi-bagger return of  200 percent over the past year and a return of 20 percent over the past 6 months. With the market capitalization  standing at Rs 16,106.29 crores, the shares of this firm closed at Rs 501.85 apiece

Comparing the financials from the previous quarter to the current quarter, the net sales generated by Railtel Limited fell by 33 percent from Rs 833 crores in Q4FY24 to Rs 558 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits also fell from Rs 78 crores to Rs 49 crores demonstrating a 37 percent decline.

Comparing the numbers from the previous corresponding period to the current period, the net sales increased by 19.2 percent from Rs 468 crores in Q1FY24 to Rs 558 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits fell by 29 percent from Rs 38 crores to Rs 49 crores. As of June 2024, the order book of Railtel stood at Rs 4,682 crores.

Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited

Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited is an Integrated and diversified conglomerate in the areas of sugar, ethanol, and engineering. The company is among the Top 3 manufacturers in India for sugar & second highest supplier for ethanol.

The shares of Triveni Engineering Limited has delivered a return of  37 percent over the past year and a return of 19 percent over the past 6 months. With the market capitalization  standing at Rs 8,736.22 crores, the shares of this firm closed at Rs 399.10  apiece.

Comparing the financials from the previous quarter to the current quarter, the net sales generated by Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited remained flat at Rs 1,301 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits, however, fell from Rs 161 crores to Rs 31 crores demonstrating a 81 percent decline.

Comparing the numbers from the previous corresponding period to the current period, the net sales increased by 8.5 percent from Rs 1,198 crores in Q1FY24 to Rs 1,301 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits decreased by 54 percent from Rs 68 crores to Rs 31 crores.

As of Q1FY25, Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited’s total order book was Rs 1,491.7 crore. Of this, Rs 305.8 crore was from the power business, and Rs 1,185 crore was from the water business.

G R Infraprojects Limited

Incorporated in the year 1995, G R Infraprojects Ltd is an integrated road Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company (EPC) with experience in the design and construction of various road/highway projects across 15 States in India.

The shares of GR Infraprojects Limited has delivered a return of  30 percent over the past year and a return of 33 percent over the past 6 months.With the market capitalization  standing at Rs 16,298.38 crores, the shares of this firm closed at Rs 1,685.65 apeice.

Comparing the financials from the previous quarter to the current quarter, the net sales generated by G R Infraprojects Limited fell by 18.3 percent from Rs 2,485 crores in Q4FY24 to Rs 2,030 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits also fell from Rs 553 crores to Rs 156 crores demonstrating a 71 percent decline.

Comparing the numbers from the previous corresponding period to the current period, the net sales fell by 18 percent from Rs 2,478 crores in Q1FY24 to Rs 2,030 crores in Q1FY25. During the same period, the net profits fell by 49 percent from Rs 310 crores to Rs 156 crores.

The order book of  G R Infraprojects Limited as of 31st March 2024 stood at Rs 16,780.6 crores.
