Ace investor Dolly Khanna is well known for her picks that tend to outperform the market. It appeared like she was on a selling spree during the previous quarter, however, she increased her stake in many stocks during the first quarter of FY2023-24. 

Here are three stocks in which she has increased her stake: 

Deepak Spinners 

Deepak Spinners is a textile manufacturing company that produces synthetic staple fibre yarn, man-made fibre blended yarn and other types of yarn. 

Dolly Khanna holds 1,18,743 shares or a 1.65% stake in the company as per the shareholding pattern of the company for the April to June quarter of FY2023-24 (Q1FY24). However, she held 83,263 shares or a 1.16% stake in the company as per the shareholding pattern of the January to March quarter of FY2022-23 (Q4FY23). This shows that she has increased her stake in the company by 0.49% 

Deepak Spinners is a micro-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 208 crores and its shares closed at ₹ 283.00 apiece on Thursday. The company’s share price increased by 28.40% in the past year and by 306.32% in the past five years. 

Monte Carlo Fashions 

Monte Carlo Fashions manufactures designer woollen and cotton readymade apparel. Moreover, it is engaged in the trading of readymade apparel and other products under its brand “Monte Carlo” which has also been recognized as a Superbrand. 

The ace investor holds 4,90,080 shares or a 2.36% stake in the company as of the June quarter (Q1FY24). She held 4,36,580 shares or a 2.11% stake as of the March quarter (Q4FY23). This indicates that she has increased her stake in the company by 0.11%. 

Monte Carlo Fashions is a small-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 1,760 crores and its shares settled at ₹ 845.70 on Thursday. The company’s share price increased by 5.98% in the past year and by 108.89% in the past five years. 

Prakash Pipes 

Prakash Pipes is engaged in the manufacturing of PVC pipes & fittings and packaging products. It was created out of a demerger from Prakash Industries.

Dolly Khanna holds 6,65,823 shares or a 2.78% stake in the company as of the June quarter (Q1FY24). She held 6,47,823 shares or a 2.71% stake as of the March quarter (Q4FY23). This indicates that she has increased her stake in the company by 0.07%. 

Prakash Pipes is a small-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 443 crores and its shares settled at ₹ 184.50 apiece on Thursday. The company’s share price increased by 7.54% in the past year and by 96.50% in the past five years.
