Shares of this real estate stock under the ‘small-cap’ category jumped up to 2.80 percent in Tuesday’s trading session after a well-known ace investor increased its stake in the company by 3.70 percent. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 1,575.95 crores, the stocks of Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited closed at Rs 214.25 on Tuesday. The company’s stock witnessed an intra-day high of Rs 219.70 exhibiting a gain of approximately 2.80 percent as compared to the previous close of Rs 213.75 apiece. 

The bullish sentiments around the stock were observed after Mr. Mukul Agrawal, one of the well-known ace investors based in India, increased his stake in the company by 3.70 percent, i.e., from 4.33 percent (29.38 lakh equity shares) during the quarter ended June 2023 to 8 percent (58.88 lakh equity shares) during the quarter ended September 2023. 

During the past couple of financial years, the company has been successful in consistently increasing its operating revenues as well as its net profits. 

The most recent movement in the operating revenues shows an increase from Rs 1,339.83 crores during FY21-22 to Rs 1,798.59 crores during FY22-23, and, the net profits, in congruence, rose from Rs 47.76 crores to Rs 95.3 crores. 

As a result of the same, the profitability metrics of the company increased with the return on equity (RoE) shifting from 5.04 percent during FY21-22 to 9.41 percent during FY22-23, and, the return on capital employed (RoCE) jumping from 10.53 percent to 16.49 percent. 

As per the recent shareholding data for the quarter ending September 2023, the company’s Promoters hold a 38.27 percent stake followed by the Retail Investors holding the remaining 61.73 percent stake in the company. 

Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited is associated with the construction of buildings especially the construction of high-rise and super high-rise commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. Some of the company’s projects include Oberoi Garden City, Rustomjee Seasons, Tata Trust, and many more.
