Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) are companies, HNI or funds who invest in India but are not citizens of India. They can be any country’s mutual funds or insurance companies. FIIs own around 21 percent of the companies that comprise the nifty 500. FIIs usually invest for a short- medium term horizon. Here are the companies in which FIIs have increased their holdings the most. 

Voltamp Transformers Ltd

HDFC bank Ltd 

HDFC bank is one of the leading private banks in India, it offers personal and corporate banking, private and investment banking, and other related financial solutions to individuals, MSMEs, government, and agriculture sectors, financial institutions and trusts, and non-resident Indians. The market capitalization of the company is 11,67,485 crores 

At 9:50 a.m the shares of HDFC Bank were trading at Rs. 1,538 per share, it has delivered -5.55 percent in the last 1 month. FIIs have increased 18.75 percent stakes in the company from 33.38 percent earlier to 52.13 percent now as of September 23. 

Five Star Business Finance Ltd 

Five-Star Business Finance Limited (Five-Star) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC) (loan company), registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), It provides secured loans to micro-entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals. The market capitalization of the company is 22,348 crores. 

At 9:55 a.m the shares of Five Star Business Finance Ltd were trading at Rs. 770 per share, it has delivered 10 percent in the last 1 month. FIIs have increased 41.48 percent stake in the company from 8.74 percent earlier to 50.22 percent now as of September 23.
