Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in the business of logistics and transportation services in green after it signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) for collaboration in expanding and developing the logistics services. 

At 12:54 p.m. the shares of Container Corporation of India Limited were trading at Rs. 866.10, up 0.66 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 860.40 and its market capitalization is Rs. 52,686 Crores. 

Container Corporation of India Limited and DB Schenker India Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate for EXIM & Domestic Business, to contribute to the sustainable supply chain practices in the logistics industry. 

Commenting on this MoU Mr. Sanjay Swarup CMD of CONCOR said that CONCOR and DB Schenker are leaders in their respective fields and the two organizations are joining hands to seamlessly provide a bouquet of end-to-end services for customers which would also help in further improving India’s position in ‘ease of doing business’ which is a prime focus area for the Government of India. 

Speaking on this, Ms. Kinjal Pande, Chief Executive Officer of DB Schenker, Cluster India and Indian Subcontinent, remarked, that this strategic collaboration marks an important milestone in its commitment to provide enhanced sustainable products to its customers. 

Road continues to be the dominant mode of transport in India and through this strategic partnership for Rail Freight, it wants to significantly change the trend towards a low-carbon future. 

The company’s revenue from operations grew 6.75 percent from Rs. 7,652.73 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 8,169.12 Crores in FY23, accompanied by increasing profits of Rs. 1,056.37 Crores to Rs. 1,173.87 Crores. 

Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) is engaged in the business of logistics and transportation services by providing inland transportation of containers by rail. It also covers the Management of Ports & air cargo complexes and establishing cold chains.
