The shares of this financial service provider gained up to 6 percent after the company’s gross loan book and total deposit increased by 27 percent and 29 percent respectively. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 11,547.52 crore, the shares of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd closed at Rs 59.25 per share, increasing around 4.17 as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 56.82 apiece. 

According to the company filing, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd’s gross loan book increased by 27 percent from Rs 21,895 crore in Q3FY23 to Rs 27,791 crore in Q3FY24, and total deposits increased by 29 percent from Rs 6,070 crore in Q3FY23 to Rs 7,549 crore Q3FY24. 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd’s revenue increased 40 percent from Rs. 993 crores in Q2FY23 to Rs 1,391 crores in Q2FY24. Further, During the same period, Net Profit increased by 11 percent from Rs 294 crores to Rs 328 crores. 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd. reported return ratios in the recent financial year with a return on equity (ROE) of 33.3 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 10.6 percent. 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd’s recent shareholding pattern, The Promoters of the Company own 73.66 percent while Retail shareholders own an 18.59 percent stake in the company and Foreign Institutional Investors own a 3.54 percent stake. 

The organization has 629 banking branches, 517 ATMs, and a client base of 76.9 lakh. It is present in 271 districts throughout 25 states and UTs.
