With a market capitalization of Rs 16,648.20 crore, the shares of NBCC (India) Ltd were trading around Rs 92.49 per share, increasing around 0.05 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 92.44 apiece.
According to the company filing, NBCC (India) Ltd received two work orders worth Rs 352.13 crore from domestic entities. The first work order is for the Construction of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Campus at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh & Modification works of the existing Trade Facilitation Centre as part of the Campus worth Rs 218 crore.
In addition to the above paragraph, the second order is for the Construction of Phase-III of BPS Government Medical College (W) Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat, Haryana worth Rs 134.13 crore.
NBCC (India) Ltd’s revenue increased by 4 percent, from Rs 1,556 crores in Q2FY23 to Rs 1,622 crores in Q2FY24. During the same year, Net Profit declined by 14 percent, from Rs 99 crores to Rs 85 crores.
As of March 31, 2023, the value of NBCC’s order book was about Rs 45,275.01 crore. In the fiscal year 2022-23, the firm received orders of Rs 4,225.44 Cr, including the construction of a medical college and hospital in Karaikal, Puducherry.
In the fiscal year 2022-23, the company completed major projects worth Rs 1,249.82 crore for AIIMS in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, Rs 580.90 crore for IIT Mandi, Rs 327.62 crore for NICL Regional Office Complex in Kolkata, and Rs 271.06 crore for NIT Narela Works in Delhi.
NBCC Ltd specializes in civil construction projects, including as residential and commercial complexes, national security infrastructure, civil sector infrastructure, and PMGSY projects.
