Suzlon Energy Limited has secured a new work order for the development of a 30 MW wind power project for EDF Renewables in Gujarat. Under this project, Suzlon will install 10 wind turbine generators with a hybrid lattice tubular tower with a rated capacity of 3 MW each.
Electricity generated from the project will be supplied to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, A project of this size can provide electricity to over 24 thousand households and curb over 97 thousand tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.
Suzlon Energy Limited will execute the project with a scope of supply, supervision, erection, and commissioning. Additionally, it will also undertake post‐commissioning operations and maintenance services
Suzlon Energy is engaged in the generation of renewable energy and providing full-stack solutions related to it like manufacturing, project execution, operation, and maintenance of wind turbine generators and sale of related components.
It has a strong order book of 1,613 MW and its key clientele consists of Reliance Industries, Adani Renewables, Tata, Gail, Blackrock, and many more.
Its revenue from operations grew by 6.99 percent from Rs. 1,458 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 1,560 Crores in Q3FY24, accompanied by increasing profits of Rs. 78 Crores to Rs. 203 Crores.
