With a market capitalization of Rs 241 crore, the shares of Tara Chand Infralogistic Solutions Ltd were trading at Rs 170 per share, increasing around 3.36 percent as compared to the previous closing of Rs 165.25 apiece.
According to the company filing, Tara Chand Infralogistic Solutions Ltd has received a new 4.5-year contract from the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.
Furthermore, Under this new contract, the business will serve as the Consignment Handling Agency (CHA) Contractor at SAIL Warehouse in Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai. The contract value (without taxes) is anticipated to be Rs 110 crore.
Looking into Tara Chand Infralogistic Solutions Ltd’s performance, revenue increased by 20 percent from Rs 36.87 crore in Q3 FY23 to Rs 44.36 crore in Q3 FY24. During the same period, net profit increased by 10 percent, from Rs 3.03 crore to Rs 3.35 crore.
The stock has delivered returns of 30 percent in the last six months and a multi-bagger return of 104 percent. A shareholder’s investment of Rs. 1 lakh in the company would be worth Rs. 2.04 lakh in a year.
The company has some big players in its client portfolio which include ONGC, HP, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Wellspun, BHEL, Sail, Tata Steel, and many more.
Looking at the key financial measures, the return on equity (ROE) was 10.2 percent during FY22-24, while the return on capital employed (ROCE) was 10.7 percent over the same period. In contrast, the net profit margin (NPM) was 4.44 percent in fiscal year 22-23.
