Leading Multinational Conglomerate which is one of the leading players in domestic and overseas Markets, for providing EPC Solutions in focus upon receiving a work order worth Rs. 1,000-2,500 Crores from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,86,618 Crores, the shares of Larsen & Toubro Limited were trading at Rs. 3,540, down 2.24 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 3,621.10. 

Larsen & Toubro Limited has received a significant work order in the range of Rs. 1,000-2,500 Crores from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Madurai, Tamil Nadu. 

The order includes the construction of a 720-bed hospital, a 150-bed Infectious Diseases Block, a 30-bed AYUSH Block, a 150-seat medical college, a nursing college, a 750-seater auditorium, hostel, and residential facilities in a built-up area of 2.1 mn sq. ft. 

The project is to be executed in 33 Months and the scope of work involves civil structure, finishes, MEP services, and external development, including landscaping. 

Larsen & Toubro Limited is a multinational conglomerate operating in over 50 countries, it is primarily engaged in providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions across major sectors such as Hydrocarbon, Power, Infrastructure, Information Technology, Defence, and Financial Services in domestic and international markets. 

It has a strong order book worth Rs. 4,698 Billion, of which International orders are 60.94 percent (Rs. 2863 Billion) and Domestic orders are 39.05 percent (Rs. 1,835 Billion). 

The segmental order breakup is as follows Infrastructure projects 68 percent, Energy 24 percent, Hi-Tech manufacturing 5 percent, and others 3 percent. As per the geography 61 percent are domestic projects, 36 percent in the Middle East, 0.4 percent USA & Europe, and 3 percent rest of the world. 

Its revenue from operations grew by 18.83 percent from Rs. 46,390 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 55,128 Crores in Q3FY24, accompanied by increasing profits of Rs. 3,058 Crores to Rs. 3,593 Crores.
