Markets started on a lower note and slipped further on Friday. Equity Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty faced a significant one percent decline due to a broad-based selloff. At close, the Nifty 50 was down 234.40 points or 1.03 percent at 22,519.40 and the Sensex was down 793.25 points at 74,244.90. 

Here are five stocks that will announce their Q3FY24 results next week: 

Angel One Ltd 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 25,875 crores, the shares of the brokerage company started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 2,906.20 compared to its previous close of Rs. 2,912.05. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 2,871.20, making a loss of around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 2,881 apiece. 

On April 17, 2024, Angel One set the record for announcing its Q4FY24 results. In one year the shares have delivered around 128 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue increased marginally by 1.04 percent from Rs. 1,048 crores during the September quarter to Rs. 1,059 crores in the December quarter. On a contrasting note, the net profits decreased by around 15 percent from Rs. 304 crores to Rs. 260 crores during the same timeframe. 

Bajaj Auto Ltd 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,53,271 crores, the shares of the automobile company started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 8,949.05 compared to its previous close of Rs. 9,005.55. During the trading session, the shares hit a high of Rs. 9,119, gaining around 1 percent and closed the day at Rs. 9,064 apiece. 

On April 18, 2024, Bajaj Auto set the record for announcing its Q4FY24 results. In one year the shares have delivered around 111 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue increased by 12 percent from Rs. 10,838 crores during the September quarter to Rs. 12,165 in the December quarter. In addition, the net profits increased marginally by 0.6 percent from Rs. 2,020 crores to Rs. 2,033 crores during the same timeframe. 

Infosys Ltd 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 6,16,486 crores, the shares of IT company started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 1,504 compared to its previous close of Rs. 1,506.80. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 1,479.50, making a loss of around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 1,484.75 apiece. 

On April 18, 2024, Infosys set the record for announcing its Q4FY24 results. In one year the shares have delivered a poor return of 7 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue decreased marginally by 0.4 percent from Rs. 38,994 crores during the September quarter to Rs. 38,821 in the December quarter. On the other hand, the net profits decreased by around 2 percent from Rs. 6,215 crores to Rs. 6,113 crores during the same timeframe.

Wipro Ltd 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,45,975 crores, the shares of the global Information technology company started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 475 compared to its previous close of Rs. 477.30. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 470, making a loss of around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 470.75 apiece. 

On April 19, 2024, Wipro set the record for announcing its Q4FY24 results. In one year the shares have delivered a decent return of 27 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue decreased by 1.38 percent from Rs. 22,516 crores during the September quarter to Rs. 22,205 in the December quarter. On the other hand, the net profits increased by around 1.27 percent from Rs. 2,667 crores to Rs. 2,701 crores during the same timeframe. 

HDFC Bank Ltd 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 11,53,895 crores, the shares of the banking company started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 1.521 compared to its previous close of Rs. 1,536.35. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 1,513.45, making a loss of around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 1,518 apiece. 

On April 20, 2024, HDFC Bank set the record for announcing its Q4FY24 results. In one year the shares have delivered a negative return of 10 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial standalone statements, the Net Interest Income (NII) increased by 4 percent from Rs. 27,385 crores during the September quarter to Rs. 28,471 crores in the December quarter. In addition, the net profits increased by 2.5 percent from Rs. 15,976 crores to Rs. 16,373 crores during the same period.
