With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,366 Crores, the shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited were trading at Rs. 310.10, up 3.99 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 298.20.
Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited has announced the successful commissioning of state-of-the-art wraparound packaging equipment at its Bhopal canning facility. With this innovative technology in place, it anticipates an increase in operational efficiency by approximately 25 percent.
Designed to seamlessly integrate into existing production lines, the wraparound equipment offers advanced features and capabilities. Its precision engineering ensures precise wrapping and sealing of products, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput.

Some well-known brands sold by the company are Hunter, Black Fort, Power Cool, Legend, and Woodpecker in the Beer segment and Pentagon, Milestone, and White Fox vodka in the IMFL segment. Its other IMFL brands include Genius and Sunny.
As of Q4FY24 Ace Investor Dolly Khanna Holds a 1.14 percent stake in the company consisting of 8.89 Lakh equity shares. She took a fresh holding position in the company in the March 2018 quarter by purchasing a 1.02 percent stake consisting of 2.79 Lakh Equity shares.
Its revenue from operations grew by 78.52 percent from Rs. 149 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 266 Crores in Q3FY24, accompanied by profits of Rs. 11 Crores to Rs. 18 Crores.
It has reported a return on equity (ROE) of 18.1 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 15.6 percent, it is making good returns on its equity and capital employed.
