Cement Stock engaged in the manufacturing and selling of blended cement like Portland Pozzolana cement, ODPC Cement, and many more, jumped upto 3 percent in the days upon posting Q4FY24 results with a 30 percent jump in Net Profits and recommending a final Dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 1,700 Crores, the shares of Shree Digvijay Cements Limited were trading at Rs. 114.81, up 3.18 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs.111.27.
Its revenue from operations grew by 14.94 percent YoY from Rs. 195.19 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 224.36 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 17.28 percent QoQ from Rs. 191.30 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 224.36 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a revenue of Rs. 726.73 Crores in FY23 and Rs. 792.11 Crores in FY24 indicating a growth of 9 percent YoY.
Its Net Profit grew by 29.93 percent YoY from Rs. 24.42 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 31.73 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 1 percent QoQ from Rs. 31.40 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 31.73 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a profit of Rs. 58.08 Crores in FY23 and Rs. 87.78 Crores in FY24 indicating a growth of 51 percent YoY.
In Addition, the Board of Directors of Shree Digvijay Cements Limited has recommended issuing a final dividend of Rs. 3 per share of Rs. 10 each for the financial year ending 31st March 2024.
Following the results Anil Singhvi, Executive Chairman of the Company said “SDCC continues to excel, this quarter we sold the highest ever cement and earned the highest EBITDA ever. The company posted the highest-ever EBITDA of Rs. 15,494 lacs at Rs. 1,139 per ton, perhaps the best in the industry.
It was led by the high productivity of clinker and cement coupled with all-round cost savings and sales performance. The work on the new 1.5 million-ton grinding unit is progressing well and it is expected to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of the year.
