Share price of a company engaged in the business of Fabrication and Machining of components used in the Defence Sector moved up by 1.8 percent on BSE to Rs. 1,540 in the trading session of Friday, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 1,512.85, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 1,958.21 crore.
Nibe Ltd has delivered multibagger returns of around 25,000 percent over a five-year period, spanning from Rs. 5.95 in July 2019 to the current stock price level of Rs. 1,491.15. This indicates that if an investor had invested Rs. 10,000 in the stock five years ago, it would have gained to nearly Rs. 25.10 lakhs.
NIBE’s return on equity (RoE) increased from 1.99 percent in FY21-22 to 5.89 percent in FY22-23, while the return on capital employed (RoCE) grew from 3.86 percent to 9.02 percent, during the same period.
In addition, the company has maintained better margins over the years. In the recent financial year, the company reported a net profit margin of 4.35 percent and an operating margin of 9.07 percent.
In terms of financials, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company reported a growth in the revenue from operations by 52.2 percent from Rs. 41.2 crore in Q2 FY23-24 to Rs. 62.7 crore in Q3 FY23-24, as well as a rise in the net profit by 57.5 percent from Rs. 2.8 crore to Rs. 4.41 crore, during the same period.
In the previous six months, the stock has delivered multibagger returns of nearly 141 percent, while around 310.2 percent in the last one year. So far in 2024, it has given about 135.2 percent of multibagger returns.
As per the shareholding pattern of March 2024, the promoters hold a 49.96 percent stake in the company, Foreign Institutional investors hold a 11.03 percent stake, and retail investors hold a 38.23 percent stake in the company.
Established in 2021, NIBE Limited specialises in manufacturing a broad range of critical components for the defence sector, along with offering strategic products and related research developments in the E-Vehicles division and the BVM R&D Foundation.
Together with manufacturing structural systems, like the Modular Bridge for the Indian Army, and engineering systems specifically designed for Naval applications, it also produces structures, sub-assemblies, and assemblies of mobile weapon launchers for programs like the Pinaka and MRSAM launchers, and other similar products for the tri-services of Indian Defence.
