Adani Group stock engaged in providing design, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services jumped upto 3 percent in the day’s trade upon declaring 35 percent jump in Net Profits. 

Price Action 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 9,432 Crores, the shares of ITD Cementation India Limited were trading at Rs. 549 per equity share, up 1 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 543.40. 

Q2FY25 Results 

Its Revenue from operations grew by 24 percent YoY from Rs. 1610.41 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 1990.87 Crores in Q2FY25 and it declined by 16 percent QoQ from Rs. 2381.48 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 1990.87 Crores in Q2FY25. 

Its Net Profit grew by 35 percent YoY from Rs. 53.69 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 72.19 Crores in Q2FY25 and it declined by 28 percent QoQ from Rs. 100.18 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 72.19 Crores in Q2FY25. Its Net Profit Margin increased from 3.32 percent in Q2FY24 to 3.58 percent in Q2FY25. 

Adani Group Acquisition 

Renew Exim DMCC, a wholly owned offshore entity of the Adani promoter family, has entered into an agreement with ITD Cementation’s promoter ItalianThai Development Public Co to buy a 46.64 percent stake in the company and it has given an open offer to the other shareholders of the company to acquire additional 26 percent stake in the company.

ITD Cementation India Limited has a global presence with operations in India, Bangladesh, Lao PDR, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Africa, etc., Its Clientele comprises of Government 50 percent, PSU 11 percent, and Private Sector 39 percent. Massachusetts Institute of Technology holds a 3.5 percent stake in the company. 

Order Book 

As of Q2FY25, it has a consolidated work order book of Rs. 17,986 Crores and in Q2FY25 it secured work orders worth ~Rs. 3,850 Crores. The order book breakdown consists of Maritime Structures 32.4 percent, Urban Infrastructure MRTS and Airports 19.7 percent, Industrial Structures and Buildings 17.2 percent, Highway Bridges and Flyovers 14.2 percent, Hydro, Dams, Tunnels, and Irrigation 10.8 percent, Foundation, and Specialist Engineering 3.1 percent and Water and Waste Waterworks 2.6 percent.
