Indian benchmark indices opened higher on the first day of the new financial year 2023-24, before giving up initial gains. At 03:17 PM, the indices were trading almost flat. The Sensex was at 59,122.85 points, up 0.22% and the Nifty was at 17,408.60 points, up 0.28%. Though the market was moving sideways, here are four stocks that hit the 20% upper circuit:
TTK HealthCare Ltd
Shares of TTK Healthcare continued to gain during the day and hit an upper circuit of 20% at 03:15 PM on Monday. The company’s shares were locked at ₹ 1245.60 apiece, at their 52-week high.
TTK Health Care is engaged in the business of pharmaceuticals, consumer products, medical devices, protective devices and foods. It is a small-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 1467 crore and its share price has risen by 50% in the past year.
SML Isuzu Ltd
Shares of SML Isuzu opened higher on Monday and continued to gain during the day. They hit an upper circuit of 20% and were locked at ₹ 891.00 apiece, at their fresh 52-week high.
SML Isuzu is a commercial vehicle manufacturer that produces and sells buses, ambulances and customized vehicles. It is a small-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 1075 crore and its share price has risen by 26.58% in the past year.
Black Rose Industries Ltd
Shares of Black Rose Industries mounted gains on Monday’s intraday trades and hit a 20% upper circuit to get locked at ₹ 127.50 apiece.
Black Rose Industries is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of specialty and performance chemicals. It is a micro-cap company with a market capitalization of ₹ 542 crores and its shares have fallen by 38.08% in the past year.
Kanoria Chemicals & Industries
Shares of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries opened flat on Monday but gained 20% and got locked in an upper circuit at ₹ 127.85 apiece.
Kanoria Chemicals & Industries is a leading manufacturer of chemical intermediates in India and it has diversified business interests in automotive and industrial electronics, renewable energy and textiles. It is a micro-cap stock with a market capitalization of ₹ 466 crore and its share price has fallen by 12.58% in the past year.
