The shares of this auto component manufacturer gained up to 13 percent after the company bagged a prestigious work order worth Rs 154 crore for automotive & non-automotive products. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 409.39 crore, the shares of Thaai Casting Ltd were trading at Rs 177 per share, increasing around 8.52 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 163.10 apiece. 

Reason for Rise:- 

The shares of the company have seen positive movement after Thaai Casting Ltd bagged a prestigious work order worth Rs 154 crore for the supply of various automotive & non-automative products. the company is expanding its footprint in sectors with rising demand for advanced, energy-efficient engineering solutions. 

Moreover, with this order win, the company’s order book stands at ₹ 386.83 Cr executable for 60-80 months. steady order inflow, reinforces the company’s position in the industry and reputation for technological excellence and execution capabilities, its growth trajectory, and continued customer confidence in TCL’s specialized offerings. 

Financial performance:- 

Looking into the company’s financial performance, revenue fell by 2 percent from Rs 49 crore in FY22-23 to Rs 48 crore in FY23-24. During the same duration, net profit climbed by 60 percent from Rs 5 crore to Rs 8 crore. 

Ratio analysis:- 

The company’s critical ratios show that the return on equity decreased from 31.14 percent in FY21-22 to 14.75 percent in FY22-23, while the return on capital employed increased from 27.32 percent to 17.05 percent. The net profit margin (NPM) for fiscal year 22-23 is 15.02 percent. 

Shareholding pattern:- 

In the company’s recent shareholding pattern, the Promoters of the company own 63.58 percent while Retail shareholders own a 36.27 percent stake in the company, and Foreign Institutional Investors own a 6.56 percent stake.
