What Happened:
Bajel Projects Limited has received a significant EPC order from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (MPPTCL) for the construction of 132kV transmission lines in Bhopal. The project includes overhead and underground transmission lines, monopoles, lattice structures, substation feeder bays, and the installation of 220 kV and 160 MVA power transformers.
This work is essential for supplying power to the Bhopal Metro Rail Project. The contract is valued at up to Rs. 200 crore and must be completed within 24 months. There is no involvement of promoter group companies, and it does not qualify as a related party transaction.
