Chemical stock engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing various aliphatic amines, amine derivatives, and other specialty chemicals jumped upto 8 percent in the day’s trade upon declaring robust Q2FY25 results with a 73 percent jump in Net Profits and the addition of a new plant for capacity expansion. 

Price Action 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 11,096 Crores, the shares of Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited were trading at Rs. 2,170 per equity share, up 3 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 2,103.30. 

Q2FY25 Results 

Its Revenue from operations grew by 18 percent YoY from Rs. 352.15 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 414.89 Crores in Q2FY25 and it grew by 4 percent QoQ from Rs. 399.69 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 414.89 Crores in Q2FY25. 

Its Net Profit grew by 73 percent YoY from Rs. 27.24 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 47.46 Crores in Q2FY25 and it declined by 3 percent QoQ from Rs. 48.87 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 47.46 Crores in Q2FY25. Its Net Profit Margin increased from 7.68 percent in Q2FY24 to 11.09 percent in Q2FY25. 

Expansion Plans 

The Board of Directors of Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited has considered and approved Setting up a plant for adding new products in specialty Chemicals at existing facilities at Dahej, Gujarat. 

The proposed capacity will increase the existing capacity of 3000MT to 4000MT per annum with an investment of Rs. 115-150 Crores and it will be completed between 15-50 months. The main intent is to increase the product base to meet the increasing demand in domestic and international markets and replace the imports gradually.

Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing various aliphatic amines, amine derivatives, and other specialty chemicals. It supplies amines and amine-based chemicals to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, rubber, chemical, and water treatment industries.

Its products include Methylamine, Ethylamine, Isopropylamine, Propylamines, Cyclohexylamines, Butylamines, Ethylhexylamines and Furfurylamine. Methylamines are used as ingredients in pharmaceuticals, insecticides, paint removers, surfactants, and rubber chemicals. 

It exports its products to more than 10 countries, including the Philippines, the United States of America, Israel, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Malaysia, the Middle East countries, and many others.
