The shares of cutting-edge engineering solutions providers hit 5 percent upper circuit of Rs 435.85 apiece after the company’s revenue increased by 664 percent half-yearly and 608 percent annually in FY23-24. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 753.20 crore, the shares of Trident Techlabs Ltd. were trading at Rs 435.85 per share, increasing around 5 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 415.10 apiece. 

Its Revenue from Operations half yearly grew by 664 percent from Rs. 8.43 Crores in H1FY24 to Rs. 64.57 Crores in H2FY24 and it grew by 608 percent from Rs. 9.12 Crores in H2FY23 to Rs. 64.57 Crores in H2FY24. Annually it generated a revenue of Rs. 68.19 Crores in FY23 to Rs.73.00 Crores in FY24, indicating a growth of 7 percent. 

Its Net profit half yearly grew from a loss of Rs. 3.06 crore in H1FY24 to a profit of Rs. 15.71 crore in H2FY24 and it grew from a loss of Rs. 10.15 Crores in H2FY23 to a profit of Rs. 15.71 Crore in H2FY24. Annually it generated a Net Profit of Rs. 4.66 Crores in FY23 to Rs.9.36 Crores in FY24, indicating a growth of 100 percent. 

The stock has delivered returns of 79.73 percent in the last months and a multi-bagger return of 344.07 percent in the last five months. A shareholder’s investment of Rs. 1 lakh in the company would be worth Rs. 4.44 lakh in a year. 

The company’s profitability measures show an incline in return on equity (RoE) from 4.91 percent in FY 21-22 to 34.42 percent in FY 22-23, while, during the same period return on capital employed (RoCE) increased from 8.88 percent to 23.72 percent. In contrast, the net profit margin (NPM) was 8.24 percent in fiscal year 22-23. 

In the company’s recent shareholding pattern, promoters own 67.97 percent while Retail shareholders own a 30.11 percent stake in the company and domestic Institutional Investors own a 0.23 percent stake.
