The shares of one of the leading defense component manufacturer gained 11 percent in the day’s trade after it declared a robust quarter ended September (Q2FY24) results, with a jump in Revenue by 77.78 percent and Net Profit by 152 percent YoY.
At 10:40 a.m the shares of DCX Systems were trading at Rs. 302.50 per share, up 10.94 percent from its previous day close price and its market capitalization is Rs. 2,930.34 Crores.
As per the company’s filing, DCX Systems has declared its quarter ended September (Q2FY24) results and it is as follows.
The company’s revenue from operations grew 77.78 percent YoY from Rs. 173.88 Crores in Q2FY23 to Rs. 309.12 Crores in Q2FY24 and it grew 81.72 percent QoQ from Rs. 170.10 Crores in Q1FY24 to Rs. 309.12 Crores in Q2FY24.
Its Net Profit grew 152 percent YoY from Rs. 7.87 Crore in Q2FY23 to Rs. 19.84 Crores in Q2FY24 and it grew 106.88 percent QoQ from Rs. 9.59 Crore in Q1FY24 to Rs. 19.84 Crores in Q2FY24.
As of September 30, 2023, it has a strong order book of Rs. 1,258 Crores and The company’s chairman said that “We have a healthy and strong order book which gives an optimistic outlook for the near future. Our focus remains on securing raw materials to support the anticipated growth and rationalizing expenses to improve operational efficiencies.
As per DCX Systems Annual reports its revenue grew 13.73 percent from Rs. 1,102.27 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 1,253.63 Crores in FY23, accompanied by increasing profits of Rs. 65.61 Crores to Rs. 71.68 Crores.
It has reported a return on equity (ROE) of 20.95 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 13.3 percent, it is making good returns on its equity and capital employed.
According to the latest shareholding data available for the September 2023 quarter, the company’s Promoters hold 71.73 percent stake, the Domestic Institutional Investors hold 8.21 percent and the Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) hold 0.07 percent.
