Share price of one of India’s leading electronic, electro-mechanical, engineering designs, manufacturing, and supplies company, moved up by 5% on BSE to hit an intraday high at Rs. 118.65 on Tuesday, after reporting a rise in net profit by 30 percent QoQ and 79.3 percent YoY. 

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 3,106 crore, Apollo Micro Systems Limited (AMS) has delivered 218 percent of multibagger returns in the last one year. However, the stock has given negative returns of 20.7 percent in six months and 8.1 percent so far in 2024. 

The fluctuations in the share prices were observed after the company announced the financial results for Q4 FY23-24 and FY24, through the recent filings with the stock exchanges on Monday. 

The consolidated revenue from operations climbed by 26.7 percent YoY from Rs. 106.84 crore in Q4 FY22-23 to Rs. 135.43 crore in Q4 FY23-24, and grew by nearly 48.3 percent QoQ from Rs. 91.34 crore in Q3 FY23-24 to Rs. 135.43 crore in Q4 FY23-24. 

Apollo Micro Systems’ net profit stood at Rs. 12.93 crore in Q4 FY23-24, indicating a growth of 30 percent QoQ from Rs. 9.96 crore in Q3 FY23-24 and by 79.3 percent YoY from Rs. 7.21 crore in Q4 FY22-23. 

The company’s revenue is expected to grow by 25 percent in FY24-25 led by growth opportunities in Defence and the key interest of the Indian Government to enhance Defence production and capability of the domestic market. 

The consolidated EBITDA grew by 30.85 percent YoY from Rs. 64.1 crore in FY22-23 to Rs. 83.8 crore in FY23-24, while the EBITDA Margin increased from 21.54 percent to 22.57 percent, during the same period. 

Further, the Board of the company has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.05 per equity share of face value of Rs. 1 each for the financial year 2023-24. 

As of March 2024, FIIs hold 11.14 percent of the shares, whereas DIIs hold 0.01 percent of the shares in the company, aggregating to 11.15 percent of the institutional holdings.
