The stock market of India has surpassed Hong Kong’s to become the fourth largest in the world, offering several options to foreign investors to invest in India.
Below are the three newly purchased stocks in the portfolios of ace investors including Dolly Khanna, that have witnessed a rise in the FII holdings.
PTC Industries Limited
According to the shareholding pattern data available on the BSE, the ace investor Mukul Mahavir Agrawal bought 1.67 lakh equity shares of fresh stake in PTC Industries, representing a 1.16 percent stake, having a holding value of Rs. 125.8 crore.
The FII holdings have increased by 2.07 percent from 1.75 percent in Q3 FY23-24 to 3.82 percent in Q4 FY23-24.
The share price of the company in the trading session of Monday moved up by around 3 percent on BSE to Rs. 7,869.95, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 7,646.65 and has a market cap of Rs. 10,883 crore.
The company has delivered positive returns of about 48 percent in the past six months and nearly 222.5 percent of multibagger returns in the last one year. So far, the company has given around 14 percent of positive returns in 2024.
Though the company witnessed a decline in the revenue from operations by nearly 2.6 percent from Rs. 56.94 crore in Q3 FY22-23 to Rs. 55.45 crore in Q3 FY23-24, the net profit of PTC Industries increased by 32.7 percent, from Rs. 6.09 crore in Q3 FY22-23 to Rs. 8.08 crore in Q3 FY23-24.

Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited
With a holding value of Rs. 27.4 crore, the ace investor Dolly Khanna purchased nearly 8.89 lakh equity shares in Q4 FY23-24, representing a 1.14 percent stake in the company. The FII holdings have increased by 0.19 percent from 0.58 percent in Q3 FY23-24 to 0.77 percent in Q4 FY23-24.
With a market capitalisation of Rs. 2,386.2 crore, the stock moved up by nearly 1 percent to hit an intraday high at Rs. 314.85 in the trading session of Monday, as compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 312.05 on BSE.
In terms of financials, the company’s revenue from operations grew by nearly 51 percent from Rs. 253 crore in Q4 FY22-23 to Rs. 382 crore in Q4 FY23-24, accompanied by an increase in the net profit of 25 percent, from Rs. 16 crore in Q4 FY22-23 to Rs. 20 crore in Q4 FY23-24.
The stock has delivered positive returns of about 63.4 percent returns in the last one year and around 7.3 percent returns, so far in 2024. However, the company has given nearly 6 percent of negative returns in the last six months.
One of the leading manufacturers of alcoholic beverages in India, Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd. was incorporated in 1993 and specialises in the production of beer and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).
Selan Explorations Technology Limited
In the trading session of Monday, the share price of Selan Explorations moved up by nearly 1 percent on BSE to Rs. 639.05, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 626.05 and has a market cap of Rs. 928 crore.
Dolly Khanna bought about 1.56 lakh equity shares in this oil stock, representing a 1.03 percent equity stake, having a holding value of Rs. 9.6 crore. The FII holdings have increased by 0.12 percent from 3.71 percent in Q3 FY23-24 to 3.83 percent in Q4 FY23-24.
In terms of financials, the company’s revenue from operations grew by nearly 52 percent from Rs. 28.66 crore in Q3 FY22-23 to Rs. 43.57 crore in Q3 FY23-24. However, the net profit declined by 20.8 percent, from Rs. 7.61 crore in Q3 FY22-23 to Rs. 6.03 crore in Q3 FY23-24.
The company has delivered positive returns of about 42.7 percent in the past six months and nearly 112.7 percent of multibagger returns in the last one year. So far, the company has given around 24.4 percent of positive returns in 2024.
