As per the latest shareholding pattern of Nahar Spinning Mills, seasoned investor Anil Kumar Goel has increased his stake in the multibagger. Ace investor Dolly Khanna’s name was also among the key shareholders as of March 31, 2022.

Dolly Khanna held 3,81,973 shares or a 1.06% stake in the company as of March 31, 2022. Earlier, she was not among those shareholders that held a stake of more than 1%, as per BSE data.

Anil Kumar Goel has increased his stake to 4.87% or 17,56,400 shares as of March 31, 2022, as compared to a 4.62% stake or 16,67,000 shares as of December 31, 2021. 

Seema Goel, his spouse also increased her stake from 5,40,000 shares or 1.5% in 2021 to 6,12,000 shares or 1.70% as of March 31, 2022. Together, they hold a 6.57% stake in the company.

The scrip has rallied a massive 500% in the last year. If an investor would have invested ₹ 1,00,000 in the shares of the company a year ago, the value of their investment would have been ₹ 6,00,000 today!

Analysts noted that textile is one of the few sectors that is witnessing early signs of sustained structural growth on account of the China + 1 sourcing strategy. This is driven by geopolitical developments and de-risking by global exporters.

They noted that global textiles and apparels exports are a $775 billion per annum opportunity. Even if there is a 1% shift in overall trades, it will open an opportunity worth $8 billion for India.

Nahar Spinning Mills Limited is engaged in manufacturing and exporting cotton, knitted garments, and synthetic and blended yarns. One of their renowned brands is Monte Carlo. It has 7 multilocation plants out of which 60% aim at the export market. The company exports its products to clients in the USA, the UK, Russia, Canada, Netherlands, Peru, Chile, Argentina, France, Columbia, Bangladesh and so on.
