The shares of one of the Leading drone manufacturing and solutions providers jumped 5 percent in the day’s trade after it announced the launch of its third Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) in a strategic collaboration with IIT Ropar.
At 2.15 p.m. the shares of Dronecharya Aerial Innovations Limited were trading at Rs. 187, up 3.80 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 180 and its market capitalization is Rs. 448 Crores.
Droneacharya Aerial Innovations Limited has launched its third Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) in a strategic collaboration with IIT Ropar. Through this collaboration, they are aiming to cater to the growing need for skilled manpower in the Drone Industry in the Northern part of the country.
By imparting quality training and 100 percent job assistance, DroneAcharya aims to bridge the gap between the growing demand for skilled Drone professionals in these areas.
To date, Droneacharya has trained 564 DGCA-certified drone pilots, out of a total of 8,362 DGCA-certified drone pilots in India, having the highest market share in private training organizations.
DroneAcharya recently sealed India’s largest government drone training project from the Karnataka Forest Department to train 240 of their staff and officials. Recently, the company also signed a cornerstone deal with Tata Strive and Wollstone Capital, through which they will be launching 30 new centers across India.
The company’s revenue from operations grew 417.27 percent from Rs. 3.59 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 18.57 Crores in FY23, accompanied by profits of Rs. 0.41 Crore to Rs. 3.43 Crore.
In the financial year 2023, it reported a return on equity (ROE) of 8.51 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 11.52 percent, it is making good returns on its equity and capital employed, Its profitability ratios are increasing year on year.
According to the latest shareholding data available for the September 2023 quarter, the Promoters of the company hold 28.21 percent stake, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) hold 1.31 percent and the Domestic Institutional Investors hold 0.00 percent.
