At 1:42 p.m the shares of Suzlon Energy Limited were trading at Rs. 36.55, down 0.95 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 36.90 and its market capitalization is Rs. 49,758 Crores. As of today, it has delivered multi-bagger returns of 260 percent in a year.
Suzlon Energy Limited has received a new order for the development of a 100.8 MW wind power project for Mahindra Susten Private Limited, which is the clean‐teach arm of the Mahindra Group.
As per the deal, Suzlon will install 48 units of their S120 140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each in Maharashtra. Electricity generated from the project will be supplied to Commercial and Industrial customers in the state of Maharashtra.
It will execute the project with a full scope of supply, installation, and commissioning. Additionally, Suzlon will also undertake post‐commissioning operation and maintenance services of the wind turbines.
In addition to this, it has received another order for the development of a 100.8 MW wind power project for the Indian subsidiary of a leading Nordic Energy Company.
For this project Suzlon will install 32 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each which will be located in Karnataka.
The above order is a repeat order from the customer for the company’s largest turbine rated 3.15 MW, S144‐ 140m from the 3 MW series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and supervise the project including commissioning. Later on, Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services post‐commissioning.
