Power stock engaged in the business of providing services for the construction and commissioning of electricity transmission and distribution systems hit a 5 percent upper circuit upon receiving an NHAI Sub contract worth Rs. 19.59 Crores

With a market capitalization of Rs. 389 Crores, the shares of Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited hit a 5 percent upper circuit at Rs. 355.75 per equity share, from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 338.85. 

What Happened 

The Gawar Construction Limited has awarded Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited a Subcontract of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the shifting of Obstructing Utility for a consideration of Rs. 19.59 Crores. 

The said work order involves shifting various EHV line’s electrical utilities, shifting electrical towers and transformers including Excavation, supply of materials, erection, etc. as per the sanctioned estimates of RRVPNL Division, Jodhpur.
