In Thursday’s session, the share price of one of the most proficient civil infrastructure solutions providers in India hit a 5% upper circuit on BSE to Rs. 43.7, after the company bagged an order worth Rs. 3.7 crores from the Government of Tripura.
With a market cap of Rs. 666.4 crores, at 01:44 p.m., the shares of Tantia Constructions Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 42.99, up by 3.3 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 41.62.
What’s the news:
According to the latest regulatory filings with the stock exchanges, Tantia Constructions received an order worth Rs. 3.74 crores from the Belonia Division of South Tripura.
The contract work from the Government of Tripura is for the construction of the RCC Bridge over Abhayacherra on Barpathari to Tulamura Road for implementation under NABARD.

On 25th June, the company received an order worth Rs. 7.3 crores from Tripura Government, Kailashahar Division.
The contract work for the construction of 7 nos. residential quarters for Judicial Officers at Kailashahar Unakoti District, Tripura, including internal water supply, sanitary installation, sewage, drainage works, underground tank, boundary wall and internal electrification works.
Financial:
The company experienced significant growth in its net profit, showing a year-on-year rise of around 113.3 percent from a loss of Rs. 7.5 crores in Q1 FY23-24 to a profit of Rs. 1 crore in Q1 FY24-25.
However, its revenue from operations fell during the same period from Rs. 19 crores to Rs. 7.72 crores, indicating a decline of nearly 59.4 percent YoY.
Stock Performance:
The shares of Tantia Constructions have delivered positive returns of nearly 26.3 percent in one year as well as around 65 percent returns year-to-date.

It began operations in the railways segment and later expanded to six other core infrastructure segments: roads, urban development, infrastructure and industrial fabrication, power, marine and aviation.
