During Tuesday’s trading session, the shares of a company engaged in the business of EPC services surged nearly 6.5 percent to Rs. 184.9 on BSE, after the company received an order worth Rs. 39.63 crores from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO). 

With a market cap of Rs. 271.8 crores, at 11:41 a.m., the shares of Konstelec Engineers Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 180, up by nearly 3.7 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 173.65. 

What’s the news: 

Konstelec Engineers Limited has been awarded an order worth Rs. 39.63 crores for electrical works from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), and the work is scheduled to be completed within a period of 12 months. 

According to the latest filings with the NSE, the order involves electrical work at Alumina Refinery and M&R Complex in Damanjodi, Odisha, as well as the Vishakhapatnam Port Facilities area. 

Previous Orders: 

On 1st August, Konstelec Engineers informed through filings regarding an order received for Electrical and Instrumentation work amounting to Rs. 28.50 crores from Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India Limited. 

On 4th September, the company secured an order for the supply and erection of electrical works valued at nearly Rs. 7 Crores from Talcher Fertilizers Limited in Odisha. 

Additionally, on September 17th, Konstelec Engineers received an order for Instrumentation works amounting to Rs. 12.58 crores from NALCO. 

Financials: 

The company experienced significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year rise of around 40.5 percent from Rs. 153 crore in FY23 to Rs. 215 crore in FY24. 

Similarly, its net profit increased marginally during the same period from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 9 crores, indicating a rise of nearly 28.6 percent YoY.
